On March 28, 2026, the Office and Commercial Space sector of the 57th China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) officially opened. KOKUYO and Lamex Furniture returned to the spotlight in a deeply integrated presence at Booth 2B11, Hall 20.2 Overseas.
Marking another major appearance since the integration of the two brands, this year’s booth is themed “The Origin of Curiosity · Encountering Better Possibilities”, presenting a concentrated vision of the future of workplace environments through three key dimensions: spatial curation, product innovation, and industry research.
Reframing the Booth Through a “Gallery” Logic, in Another Collaboration with a Renowned Designer
This year’s booth continues KOKUYO’s brand belief that “Curiosity is Life”, reimagining how workplace furniture is seen and experienced through a gallery-inspired curatorial approach. A calm rhythm, restrained lighting, generous negative space, and carefully choreographed pause points together create an immersive route that invites visitors to move, linger, and observe.
Visitors are no longer simply buyers or trade professionals in the conventional sense. Instead, they are guided along a curatorial path that encourages them to slow down, look again, and engage with the space in a new way.
Notably, following the creation of the C³office hybrid space, KOKUYO Furniture has once again collaborated with Gu Yi, founder of Not A Studio, for the booth design. Known for a design language defined by restraint, minimalism, and human warmth, Gu Yi brings an added layer of artistic texture and spatial narrative to the booth beyond its functional display role.
From New Products to Real-Life Scenarios: A Product Matrix for the Future of Work
Along this “curiosity route,” visitors will encounter a range of key products that embody forward-looking ideas. Lamex presents new launches including the Verta 2 office chair, Nala bar chair, and Til casual meeting table, arranged around diverse workplace scenarios such as collaboration, reception, and relaxation.
Meanwhile, KOKUYO highlights the Mainland China debut of ingCloud, a next-generation addition to the ing series, alongside other featured products such as the SAIBI-LX modular table-and-sofa setting and the Duora 2 office chair, together addressing the growing demand for both flexibility and long-term comfort in the workplace.
Among them, ingCloud builds on the ing series’ research into dynamic sitting, offering a more responsive support logic that adapts to the body’s continuous movement while working. Duora 2 centers on a dual-layer seat and back-tracing support structure to provide greater sitting stability during extended periods of work. Verta 2, inspired by natural structures and sustainable comfort, delivers a lighter yet dependable seating experience across multiple workplace settings.
At the booth, products are not displayed in isolation. Instead, they are embedded within real scenarios, forming a fresh expression of future ways of working.
White Paper Launch: Extending from “Display” to “Definition”
Beyond products and spatial design, KOKUYO and Lamex are also launching the China Office Environment White Paper during the exhibition in collaboration with the renowned design studio Matrix Design. Through systematic research, the white paper examines the evolution of today’s office environments, behavioral patterns, and design values.
With this release, the booth becomes more than a brand showcase. It also serves as a focused statement on the future of office environments in China.
From spatial perception to product application, and from practical solutions to industry research, KOKUYO and Lamex aim to present not just a single furniture solution, but a more holistic framework for thinking about workplace environments. This also signals a shift in the brand’s role, from provider of office space solutions to active participant in shaping new ways of working and broader industry trends.
An Immersive Booth That Invites Movement, Pause, and Reflection
Within this gallery-like booth designed for movement and discovery, KOKUYO and Lamex begin from the “Origin of Curiosity”, responding to deeper questions about the future of work through three narrative threads: design, products, and research.
A C³office coffee experience corner is quietly tucked into one part of the route. A customizable specialty coffee allows visitors to naturally slow their pace, softening the boundary between work and life, if only for a moment.
Inside the booth, space and products resonate with one another. Beyond the booth, new possibilities for the relationship between people and work continue to unfold.
