The new office space for Longpai Hunan Cuisine was personally designed by Chen Lin, the renowned pioneer of fine dining restaurant design, bringing the aesthetics of high-end restaurants directly into the workplace.

From spatial layout and lighting to furniture selection, the design completely breaks away from traditional office conventions.

The designer aimed to create a space that not only meets functional office needs but also evokes the ambiance of a restaurant, allowing work to unfold naturally in a comfortable and inviting environment.

The perfect match with Longhouse in the office!

The designer specifically chose Lamex’s Longhouse series, inspired by the traditional longhouses of Indigenous communities in China and Southeast Asia. Its dynamic, multi-level design emphasizes openness and interaction, creating a shared space that allows for both focused work and seamless communication.

With the integration of Longhouse and the designer’s meticulous adjustments to lighting — balancing both office functionality and a restaurant-like ambiance — this space is more than just a workplace. The office space of Longpai Hunan Cuisine breaks away from the dullness of traditional offices, adopting an open and fluid layout that allows for natural spatial flow.

The designer selected Lamex’s Born series bench, perfectly aligning with the design concept.
